Honeybush is lowkey Rooibos’ superior cousin

It grows wild in the Fynbos biome in South Africa, found nowhere else on earth, and it’s special for a number of reasons. It’s naturally sweet, rich in antioxidants, caffeine-free, and when brewed slowly, its flavour is smooth and golden sweet.

Nature does the work. We respect that.

Our Honeybush is harvested entirely by hand, guided by local knowledge and sustainable practices passed down overgenerations. Keeping it wild protects biodiversity, supports small-scale pickers, and preserves the natural landscape that gives thismiracle plant its character. The result is a tea as clean in taste as itis in conscience.

Our brewing philosophy follows a simple philosophy: we respect the raw materials and trust nature to do the heavy lifting.

Because a little Honeybush goes a long way, FYN is crafted with 94% slow-brewed Honeybush, delicately balanced with pear juice concentrate, enhanced using natural flavouring, and finished off with a touch of citric acid for crisp, refreshing harmony.All flavour variants are developed in collaboration with Nigiro’s master teablender, Mingwei Tsai, a subtle assurance that every sip is human-crafted, not made in a factory.

The result is a drink that feels refreshing without feeling heavy, sweet without being sugary, and simple without being boring.

Wild routes, conscious journey

FYN began decades ago, long before it had a name, when two friends began a ritual during their days in the army: they’d brew wild Honeybush leaves into a tea that would keep them calm during times that were anything but.

Years later, one of them packed half a kilo wild Honeybush into his luggage for a trip to Ibiza, where he shared it with his friends. Soon, an experimental Honeybush cocktail bar began popping up at intimate underground gatherings in Ibiza. It was love at first sip.

The journey eventually led back to the Langkloof Valley, where the Honeybush finds its roots. Here, surrounded by mist-fed fynbos, the vision became clear: this was a South African treasure that neededto be shared with the world. And as the vision grew, so did the circle of minds behind it. The team was further augmented by the appointment of are nowned international strategist and cultural catalyst, who brought clarity and a singular purpose to the team.

Together, they formed FYN Beverages under Wild& Conscious — a group dedicated to honouring the land, uplifting local communities, and crafting something pure, intentional, and quintessentially South African.
